Isis, the joint venture between AT&T
Mobility, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless, has signed up JPMorgan
Chase, Capital One, Barclaycard.

The deal means that customers of those
banks will be able to use their mobile handsets for payments from
this summer on– finally cementing the mobile wallet ambitions of
Isis. The first group of merchants accepting the Isis Wallet are
located in Salt Lake City and Austin, Texas.

Customers would have to link their credit,
debit or prepaid cards to the Isis Mobile Wallet. The Wallet will
also enable mobile coupon redemption and show loyalty
credentials.

Isis has already signed up Visa,
MasterCard, Discover and American Express last year in July.
