Swedish mPOS provider iZettle has revealed that it is coming to Spain, follwing high profile launches in Germany and the UK.

iZettle announced the news on a blog on its website where it also stated it intends to target "both businesses and individuals" varying from those who are "looking to sell old toys at a garage sale or pretty tapas at your local bar."

The iZettle is a device that is attaches Smartphone or tablet, transforming it into a card reader that processes transactions via an app. In order to boost take up the company is offering free devices for a limited period to those who register for an account.

The mobile POS micro-merchant market has seen an influx of new competition in the last few months with WorldPay, Thyron Systems and Inuit all recently launching similar devices in the UK targeting this demographic.
