Square has revealed that its mobile POS card readers will now be sold at 7,000 Starbucks stores in the US.

The mPOS company says that the product is now available in 30,000 retail locations across the country. The card reader is also sold in stores such as AT&T, Walgreens, Staples, FedEx Office, Apple, Wal-mart, Best Buy, RadioShack and Target.

The reader costs USD9.99 with a USD10 credit that every customer can redeem once purchased. Square also has a store locator which allows customers to see where they can buy the device.

Starbucks already accepts the Square Wallet mobile payment application, which links to the coffee chain’s own loyalty programs.

The coffee chain invested USD25m in Square last year.
