Ahlibank has inked a five-year exclusive partnership agreement with payments giant Visa to support payments innovation in Qatar.

Under this partnership, the companies will jointly launch card-based payment products and create advanced technology solutions to bolster the payment experience for Ahlibank customers.

Visa will become the exclusive issuing partner of debit, credit, and prepaid cards to Ahlibank’s personal, premium, and private customers.

Visa Qatar country manager Sudheer Nair said: “We are delighted to extend our long-standing relationship with Ahlibank through this exclusive partnership agreement.

“This partnership underlines our commitment to growing the digital payments ecosystem in Qatar by creating new products and customer-centric solutions that deliver seamless, secure, and rewarding payment experiences for the country’s cardholders.”

Additionally, Ahlibank and Visa aim to drive digital payments growth in the country through data-led solutions.
