Ameriprise Financial has introduced new reward-focused Visa Signature and Premier Visa Signature credit cards for its customers across the US.

The rewards programme of the new cards includes cashback rates of up to 1.875%. Also, the products offer options for travel, lifestyle and retail redemption.

Ameriprise Premier Visa Signature cardholders will earn 1.5 reward points on every $1 spent for eligible transactions. Meanwhile, the Visa Signature credit card provides one point.

The cards feature no reward points cap or preset spending limit, travel credits and enrolment benefits. Ameriprise designed the credit cards for contactless transactions.

In addition, customers can log into their Ameriprise accounts to view credit card balances.

Ameriprise Bank FSB will provide the credit cards. Elan Financial Services will credit and issue the products, pursuant to a licence from Visa USA.

Ameriprise Financial’s portfolio also includes ONE Financial Account Visa Debit card.

The debit card is said to be integrated with a chip to generate code for purchases at a chip-activated terminal. This is intended to reduce in-store fraud.
