Banco de Brasília (BRB) has partnered with augmented identity technology provider IDEMIA to introduce the Dux metal double interface card, targeted at high-income customers.

The Visa-branded card, powered by IDEMIA technology, is made from a metallic material.

Athos Bulcão, one of the main artistic references in Brasília, is the inspiration behind the offering’s exclusive design.

IDEMIA senior vice president for Latin America Marcelo Annarumma believes that the company’s technology will support the innovation trajectory of the Brazilian lender, which has an active client base of over 800.

“Payment cards are no longer a mere payment tool in Brazil, but they also reflect lifestyle – through its high-quality material, superior style, design, and handmade effects that refers to an exclusivity quotient,” Annarumma stated.

The new card offers a host of premium benefits including a specialised concierge service, consulting services, travel planning, booking of tours and leisure activities overseas as well as exclusive menus in restaurants.
