easyJet has partnered with card solutions provider Payment Card Technologies to deliver its prepaid currency card.

The Euro Currency Card is a chip and PIN enabled Visa card that allows users to make purchases and withdraw money without incurring any fees or charges abroad.

The cards is issued by Raphaels Bank and it is offered to all easyJet customers and is free to purchase if customers order over £100 worth of Euros.

Martin Smith, consultant in partnership marketing within easyJet, said: "We wanted a prepaid currency card that would deliver unbeatable value, help customers with budgeting, be easy to use and secure. PCT was selected on the basis of their proven experience in the prepaid card field, strong supplier relationships and commitment to deliver the product within the very tight timeframe we required."
