First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) has launched a new automotive credit card programme with Ford Motor Company and Visa.
The FordPass Rewards Visa Card allows customers to earn points when paying for products such as gas, auto insurance, tolls, parking, and dining, in addition to Ford dealership purchases.
The members of the new card programme earn the most points when using the card for purchases at Ford Dealership service centres.
Points can be used later for purchasing or to lease Ford vehicle or for Ford service and parts.
The member also receives exclusive benefits such as the recent offerings of free maintenance packages for essential workers and one month of complimentary Postmates delivery services.
FNBO executive vice president of consumer banking Jerry O’Flanagan said: “This collaboration brings together three companies who are pioneers in their respective industries to deliver a truly outstanding credit card.
“Following the introduction of the FordPass Rewards loyalty program last year, Ford continues to see increased enrolment month over month, which is a testament to the brand loyalty of its customers. We look forward to further enhancing that experience with the introduction of the FordPass Rewards Visa Card.”
FNBO launched the new credit card in partnership with Visa following the launch of its FordPass Rewards programme last year.
The company is initially offering the Ford Pass Rewards Visa Card in Model-A Black and Blue Oval Blue initially.
The cards currently feature Bronco brand and Ford F-150. The future iterations of the card will allow for customisation, and include other vehicle models.
Visa head of North America Merchant Kirk Stuart said: “Visa is delighted to partner with Ford Motor Company to expand its customer loyalty program with the new FordPass Rewards Visa Card. The FordPass Rewards Visa Card enhances the Ford customer experience through everyday purchases that deliver added rewards, benefits and value.”
