Mastercard has collaborated with myPOS to increase the adoption of card payment solutions among European SMEs.

SMEs, which represent 99% of all businesses in the EU according to the European Commission, have always faced challenges in accepting card payments.

The challenges are largely the result of a dearth in cost-effective card payment terminals and poor awareness regarding the benefits of card payments.

The new alliance is aimed at increasing SMEs’ awareness of card payments and boosting the adoption of this technology.
